Out, Up and Down
When the Gay Outdoor Club was formed in 1974, gay men were popularly believed to be both a threat to society and namby-pamby. Lesbians, if they dared to reveal themselves, were shunned. Come with Philip Judson and members of the club as they challenge the stereotypes, become accepted as ordinary members of society, and show themselves to be as adventurous as any. Trek with them through rugged mountains, explore deep underground in caves never before entered, bring home medals in sport climbing from the Gay Games, and be in the first team to climb a previously-unnamed peak.

If friends are interested, ask them to download their own copies from here (or download the copies for them). This is partly to maintain copyright control but also to measure how much interest there is. The number of downloads is the only information measured and recorded.
